According to the official state legislative calendar released Thursday, state lawmakers will work fewer days in 2013 than they did in 2012.

Both the Assembly and Senate are scheduled to be in session on the same day 55 times starting with the January 9 State of the State Address and ending on June 20.

The State Senate is scheduled to be in session two additional days and the Assembly four additional days.'

In 2012 state lawmakers scheduled 62 days in session compared to the 55 scheduled for 2013.
