Snow Blankets the Oneonta Region Causing Cancellations

Not only did we get a white Christmas but apparently Old Man Winter isn't finished with us just yet.  Last night several inches of heavy snow fell on Oneonta and the surrounding area.  I'm sure parents are happy that school is taking a vacation break this week so that they don't have to deal with the last minute scramble of finding childcare, not to mention that it gives kids fun outdoor activities to enjoy.  As a kid, who didn't love building snowmen, snow forts, sledding down the nearest hill, or bombarding your siblings with snowballs?  It's ALL good so dress those kids up and sending them out in the winter wonderland today.  If you can manage it, encourage them to shovel out an elderly neighbor since the snow is heavy.
