Every year Springfield, NY holds its 4th of July Parade, but this year is a little different. This year, the town celebrates its 100th year of holding the parade and celebration. This makes the parade one of the longest running Independence Day parades in the United States! Always following the parade are live music, good food, games, and much more. Below, listen in as committee member Mary Fralick and the Springfield Celebration committee chair Debra Miller share important details about the event:

The parade starts promptly at 11am, and with over 80 entries already, you don't want to miss it. Springfield's own Jeff Walton will be holding a free concert starting at 7:30pm at Glimmerglass State Park. For complete details visit their Facebook page.
