Sidney Traffic Stop Yields 30 Pounds of Marijuana

Nearly 30 pounds of marijuana was confiscated during a traffic stop on September 2 in the Town of Sidney. According to New York State Police, troopers saw an erratic driver on I-88 and followed the car onto State Route 8 where the driver continued to make multiple vehicle and traffic violations. The driver, Chrisanthon Santana of the Bronx, NY, was eventually stopped and found to possess almost 30 pounds of marijuana. Santana was arrested and charged with felony drug possession and released with a court appearance set in the Town of Sidney.
