Sidney Man Charged in Police Chase Case

The suspect who led Sidney Police on a pursuit last Sunday is now facing multiple felony charges. Police say after Steven Barker II of Sidney failed to pull over for a traffic violation, he took off down I-88 and led police on a car chase. Barker then hit a police vehicle in the town of Masonville and left that scene with the chase ending after Barker crashed his vehicle. Both Barker and his passenger were hospitalized. It’s not clear if Barker has been arraigned.
