In this day and age of technology, it's easy to forget that you can get free entertainment at your local library.  This summer my family has rediscovered Huntington Memorial Library in Oneonta and come across some classic favorite stories and movies from childhood.  My husband and I feel lucky that both our kids enjoy reading and we have enjoyed reading "The Wonderful Wizard of Oz" by L Frank Baum to them and then watching the movie.

Next up, we'll be reading "The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe" by C. S. Lewis and then watch the movie.

It's a very fun and free way to enjoy time together with the kids so don't forget your local library which typically has some movies available. Also there are free library programs during the summer at Huntington Memorial Library in Oneonta.  Check it out.
