UPDATE: Adeline has been adopted!

Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – her name is “Adeline”.  Each week on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 am on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Leslie Ann will host members of the Susquehanna SPCA, who will tell us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home.

This week we’re going to feature Adeline, who is a 2-year-old female Catahoula Leopard dog mix. According to SQSPCA, Adeline has been living a life of luxury with her foster parents while she waits for her furrever family to come along! This gorgeous pup is the ultimate adventure buddy who loves car rides, hikes, and camping. Adeline adores other dogs and would likely do well with cats too.

And here's something else about Adeline: her foster mom says she gives kisses, loves to cuddle, and even enjoys belly rubs once she feels safe with you! Adeline came to the shelter from Louisiana after a flood and because her shelter was extremely full and looking for help, SQSPCA took her in.

When she first meets new people Adeline is very shy, but she seems to warm up well with time and patience. She was very scared in the shelter environment and shelter staff is so grateful that her foster family could take her in until she finds her forever home.
