Pet Of The Week — ‘Jasmine’
UPDATE: Jasmine has been adopted!
Meet the Susquehanna SPCA “Pet of the Week” – her name is “Jasmine”. Each week on Tuesday mornings at 8:30 am on Classic Hits 103.1fm, Leslie Ann will host Allison Hungerford from the Susquehanna SPCA, who will tell us all about a special dog or cat at the shelter looking for its forever home.
For our second week, we're excited to tell you about Jasmine, an 11-year-old female Border Collie who was surrendered to the Susquehanna SPCA very recently with her brother, Jasper, because their owner didn't have time for them. As an older girl who has been in one home for her entire life, we are sure it is devastating and very confusing for her to be in an animal shelter while she waits for her forever family to come and pick her up. Don't let Jasmine's age fool you, she is still full of life and loves to play frisbee! Jasmine's pal, Jasper, has since been adopted, and now it's time for this sweet senior girl to find her happy ever after! Jasmine loves people and will likely do well with most other dogs, but should go to a home without cats.
To meet Jasmine or any of the other adoptable dogs and cats, give the SQSPCA a call at 607-547-8111 to schedule a time to visit for convenience, although walk-ins are welcome.
And here's something awesome from Five Star Subaru. Five Star is helping out the Susquehanna SPCA this month with cat and kitten adoptions, it's 50% off! Make an appointment to come and visit feline friends, #MakeADogsDay. Call the SQSPCA for details.
