Changes are coming on November 1 to electronics recycling at the Oneonta Transfer Station. Officials say that televisions, computer monitors and commercial grade electronic items will incur a $12 fee per item. Recycling of all other electronic items (cell phones, mp3 players, tablets, etc.) will remain free of charge. The fee is being implemented to cover rising costs related recycling those specific items. Call Otsego County Planning and Solid Waste if there are any questions regarding the new fee.
