Otsego County Suffers A Second COVID-19 Death

In a press release yesterday, The Otsego County Department of Health reported that there has been a second death of a county resident from the coronavirus. No details were released on that individual whose privacy is protected by law under the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) ensure that a person's health records remain undisclosed to the general public.

Health officials say there are two more confirmed coronavirus cases bringing the total to 35. Five individuals are hospitalized and twelve are listed as recovered and out of isolation. Forty six (46) people are now out of precautionary or mandatory quarantine.
