Oneonta Planning Commission to Review Proposed Blodgett Drive Complex

The Oneonta Planning Commission meeting was a popular one Wednesday night as the proposed Hillside Commons project was the main topic.

The planners are in charge of reviewing the environmental impact of this building. Officials representing the developer, Newman Development Group, and the city of Oneonta took a close look last night at the details of the 330 bed student apartment complex planned for Blodgett Drive.

The Planning Commission will now review the information gathered last night along with residents’ comments.

The regular monthly meeting of the Planning Commission takes place at 6 p.m. next Wednesday at the Oneonta High School. This meeting will include time for public comment.
