The parent company of NYSEG makes a $400,000 donation to the Project SHARE Heating Fund. Since its inception nearly 40 years ago the fund which is administered by HeartShare Human Services of New York distributed over $17 million to more than 60,000 residents who are facing a service disconnection and have used up other sources of help. NYSEG officials say some of the fund consists of contributions from other customers who donated money. Go to for program details.
