The New York State Police and several other police agencies joined forces last Friday in an effort to get impaired drivers, unlicensed drivers and drugged drivers off the roadways. The five-hour traffic detail included the areas in and around the village of Stamford, town of Roxbury, Delaware County and adjoining county lines. A total of thirty-eight traffic summons were issued. 10 people were taken into custody including five for penal law violations.
