Former Google CEO Eric Schmidt is working with New York State to improve telehealth and broadband access using the knowledge from the coronavirus outbreak combined with new technologies. Schmidt now runs a consulting company and will lead a new 15-member commission with the goal to integrate New York State practices and systems with the best advanced technology tools to make them better. Governor Andrew Cuomo also enlisted the help of Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates to look at technology improvements for education.
