New York State Farms Receive $10.6M in Grant Funding

A total of $10.6 million in grant funding will help 159 farms in 27 counties in New York State.

Governor Andrew Cuomo announced yesterday that this money will help the farms implement programs to protect the waterways.

The Delaware County Soil and Water Conservation District is receiving over $678,000 for two projects.

$190,520 is being handed to Chenango County Soil and Water, and the Otsego County Soil and Water Conservation District is getting $16,000 for a cost sharing project with a Butternuts farmer.
