NBC’s ‘Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together’ Telethon Raises $23 Million [Video]

NBC’s ‘Hurricane Sandy: Coming Together’ Telethon was on this past Friday night featuring Christina Aguilera, Jon Bon Jovi, Billy Joel, Jimmy Fallon, Sting, Bruce Springsteen and more. Billy Joel, Steven Tyler, Bruce Springsteen and Jimmy Fallon provided the evening’s lightest moment by performing a cover of the Drifters’ soul classic, ‘Under the Boardwalk.’ Surprisingly, Fallon took the lead vocal on the first verse.  Another highlight was an abbreviated version of the ‘Land of Hope and Dreams' by Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band, ending the hour on a note of optimism.
