My Favorite Childhood Berenstain Bears Books

With the Live Berenstain Bears show coming up at the Oneonta Theatre this Friday, October 18th, I found myself reminiscing about my favorite childhood Berenstain Bears books.  I remember them well since I read them with my parents over and over again until the pages were quite worn.  The beauty of this series of books dating back to the 1960's is that not only were they entertaining for kids but they always had an important message for children in them that parents enjoyed.  I found myself reading them to my own children for that very reason.
