Missing Laurens Man Found Safe

A man with Alzheimer’s who wandered away Monday from his residence in the Town of Laurens was found safe. According to the Otsego County Sheriff’s Office, Sheriff's deputies and Emergency Services responded to the location to conduct a search of the area with the assistance of Project Lifesaver tracking equipment which the man was wearing. He was found in a wooded area approximately ¼ mile from his residence. The man was uninjured and was transported home by Sheriff’s Deputies.
