Margaretville Man Charged With Sexual Abuse

On September 1, 2016, New York State Police at Margaretville arrested Robert K. Eignor, 60, of Margaretville, NY for the class D felony of sexual abuse 1st degree and the misdemeanor of endangering the welfare of a child. This arrest occurred after troopers were advised of an incident that happened at a home in the Town of Middletown. An investigation determined that Eignor had sexual contact with a victim less than 11 years old. Eignor was arraigned in the Town of Middletown court and was remanded to the Delaware County jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail or $5,000 property bond.
