Man Faces Felony Charge in Kortright Assault

A man faces a felony charge in an assault that took place last month in Kortright. According to the Delaware County Sheriff's Office, 62-year-old Robert C. Sargent of Bloomville shoved another individual during an argument causing that person to fall. An investigation determined the victim suffered what were described as serious physical injuries and had to be hospitalized. Sargent was located a week ago Wednesday and was booked then released on his own recognizance. An order of protection was issued on the victim’s behalf.
