Lamb of God Announce 2013 Spring U.S. Tour + Upstate New York Mountain Retreat

Now that Randy Blythe has been acquitted of all charges in his controversial Czech manslaughter case, Lamb of God have announced that they will be embarking on a U.S. tour this spring. In addition, the band has also planned a very unique mountain retreat for a select group of fans this summer.

After a complex and questionable nine-month legal battle, one month of which Blythe was held in Pankrac Prison, the Lamb of God singer is finally free and may once again tour worldwide with a clean record. These 2013 U.S. tour dates are more than just a collection of live performances, they will act as a celebration of Blythe's freedom and the honorable path he took to attain that freedom. Just imagine the ovation that Randy will receive each night as he appears onstage … the thought alone is electric.

Lamb of God have scooped up death metal legends Decapitated for the entire tour, along with Terror, who will appear from May 16 - June 10, and the Acacia Strain, who will jump aboard beginning June 12.

Additionally, Lamb of God will host a Metal on the Mountain retreat at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, N.Y. for 170 fans. Spanning from July 15-19, the retreat will offer guitar and drum clinics with LoG members Mark Morton, Willie Adler and Chris Adler, group instruction, songwriting sessions and competitions, nightly jam sessions with the band, Q&A, the premiere of Lamb of God's feature film (scheduled for a Fall 2013 release) and a full Lamb of God performance. A solid batch of non-musical activities will also take place, including primitive fire building with Randy Blythe and a casino night. Ticket and camping packages start at $995 and registration is open now.
