There's nothing like a disaster to help us find out what we're really made of.  I keep reading accounts about how people are coping with the after effects of Hurricane Sandy.  Some people say how much they appreciate learning to exist without TV, computers, and other electronic entertainment and just getting back to basics like board games and simple amusements.  Others are like actor Alec Baldwin's wife, Hilaria Thomas, who has been complaining about how hard the minor inconveniences are.  Thomas, has been staying in the couple's Greenwich Village apartment in New York City and has been chronicling her ordeal for the TV show Extra. In the homemade video, Hilaria describes how she managed to prepare a healthy meal, how a leak in her closet forced her to move her "red carpet gowns" to a dry spot, and how she somehow coped with the cancellation of her daily yoga class. Oh dear!  However can she endure these hardships?  The audio is below, and it's insufferable.  Take a listen.
