It seems like every time I read a story about a bank robbery, the Perpetrator's weapon of choice keeps getting stranger and stranger.  It seems at this point, people are just grabbing whatever is hanging around at the time.  Case in point, last Wednesday, Alan Bronson Rice, 61 years old, from Anchorage, Alaska decided it was a good idea to rob a Key Bank in Achorage last Wednesday with a hammer.  It's alleged that Rice walked into the bank, walked up to a teller's window, removed a hammer from a small backpack, and then place it on the counter.  The teller asked him what he was with the hammer.  At that point he told her, "I need your money. Give me your 100s and 50s. I'm gonna hit you with this hammer. Hurry up!"   She complied with his request and he then left the bank.  Police caught up with Rice several blocks from the bank where they found him sitting on a bench. Upon searching him and his backpack, guess what police found?  His Neanderthal weapon of choice (the hammer) and "money with a tracking device".  Busted!
