Tuesday morning the Susquehanna Animal Shelter worked with the Otsego County Sheriff's Office on a seizure of 53 small breed dogs.According to the shelter, the dogs were transported to the Susquehanna Animal Shelter and have been assessed by their staff and a veterinarian. At this time they are not ready to take any adoption or foster inquiries, but the public will be updated once the dogs are.

All 53 of these dogs need immediate medical attention including but not limited to flea treatment and deworming, blood tests, vaccinations, spay/neuter etc. If you would like to donate towards these medical costs, the shelter asks that you donate on-line at: susquehannaanimalshelter.org.
