For all you Grand Funk Railroad fans, here's one you will NOT want to miss:  a free concert July 31st, featuring Grand Funk Railroad, beginning at 6:30pm at Jennings Landing in Albany, NY (formerly Albany Riverfront Park) with a rain site at Corning Preserve.  The concert is part of the "Alive @ 5" series sponsored by the City of Albany.

Grand Funk Railroad's roots are in Flint, Michigan in 1969.  Spanning their 45 year career, Grand Funk Railroad has 13 gold and 10 platinum records and sold over 25 million records worldwide.  Big hits include “We’re An American Band”, “I’m Your Captain/CloserTo Home”, “Locomotion”, and “Some Kind Of Wonderful”.
