Oneonta Students Win ‘Battle Of The Books’ In Albany
Yesterday, students from around the region competed in the 16th Annual Battle of the Books competition at the New York State Museum in Albany, NY. Not only did Oneonta High School and Oneonta Middle School send teams but they walked away as winners! It was a nail biter and came down to the final question for the win.
America's Battle of the Books is a reading incentive program for students in grades 3-12. The purpose is simply to encourage students to read good books and have fun while competing with peers. For the competition, students are asked to answer questions based on a specific book reading list they have been provided with.
Congratulations to the OHS and OMS teams on their wonderful achievement!
