Cornell Cooperative Extension will be having a Delaware County energy symposium from 8:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Saturday, April 20 at SUNY Delhi's Catskill Hall.

Learn what’s happening in our region with new practical energy solutions for reducing energy cost for your home and business.

The symposium is for energy efficiency and savings for now and the future. Learn about heating with wood pellets, new technologies for home and business with solar thermal, solar-voltaic and small wind turbines, the grass pellet demonstration project, funding opportunities and where you can get technical assistance.

There will be tours of the energy projects on the Delhi campus and of the new green sustainable construction at Sidney Federal Credit Union in Delhi.

Buses will be available for transportation to and from the SFCU site.
