Elvis Coming to Norwich for ‘Blue Suede’ Christmas
The Chenango County Council of the Arts is excited about the concert Saturday evening when Elvis comes back to Chenango County for a “Blue Suede” Christmas.
Joyce Zumo of the Arts Council says the concert will be appreciated by all age groups, especially those who grew up in the Elvis era.
"It's the ultimate Elvis holiday bash, and it will be starring Scot Bruce, who is a very well known Elvis impersonator," Zumo said. "He's traveled all over the country. He does a lot of tribute things when they do them every year. We're really excited to have him back here in Norwich."
Elvis and his backup group will appear at 7:30 p.m. Saturday in the Martin W. Kapel Theater, 27 West Main Street in Norwich.
Tickets are available at the Arts Council or online at chenangoarts.org. The concert is being sponsored by NBT Bank and Blueox.
