The thirteenth annual Earth Festival scheduled for April 22 at Milford Central School will also be an opportunity for residents to recycle and properly dispose of items to keep them from going into a landfill.

Styrofoam, tennis balls, wood pellets and more will be collected at the event aling with empty inkjet cartridges, cell phones and other small (up to tablet sized) electronics.

Organizers say Empire Recycling will be on hand with their Confidata paper shredding service for free disposal of confidential household or business documents.
