Delaware County Deputies Arrest Harlem Youth For Assault

Delaware County Deputies arrested a 16 year old Harlem youth last week for 2nd degree assault, a class “D” Felony.

It is alleged that the youth committed the assault during a physical altercation while being a resident of the Youth Leadership Academy in Kortright. The youth was arraigned in the Town of Kortright Court and remanded to the correctional facility in lieu of $1,500 cash bail.

Deputies were assisted on the scene by the New York State Police in Margaretville.
