Remember "Driven to Tears" by the Police? It was written by Sting and released on their 1980 album "Zenyatta Mondatta" of which I was a proud vinyl owner.  If you listen to the song, it smacks of political anguish over the division of the rich and poor.  Sting was inspired to write that song while on a U.S. tour in 1979, when he happened to see on Tv, the plight of starving children in Biafra, Nigeria.  Sting claims that he was literally driven to tears by the show and what he saw.

As you watch this video, you can easily imagine why this message from 1980 is still very relevant today and as a result ended up on the 2014 Golden Globes yesterday featuring the amazing vocal talents of Robert Downey Jr. and Sting.  I love this!
