Chenango Corrections Officer Accused of Computer Trespass

On May 6th, the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office arrested Ashley Stewart, a Town of Guilford resident for computer trespass, a class E felony.

Stewart, 25, was arrested following an investigation by the Chenango County Sheriff’s Office. The suspect is accused of, while employed as a corrections officer, accessing a Sheriff’s Office computer and program which she was not authorized to use.

She was issued an appearance ticket and released.
