Did you know that Fabulous Friday in Downtown Oneonta is now twice a month?  It happens on every first and third Friday of the month from 5pm to 8pm, ending the first Friday of October.  This free celebration of arts and culture in Oneonta is very family friendly and also a great opportunity to do something different with friends.

Tomorrow night's Fabulous Friday had to be amended due to predicted heavy rain, so there will be no events in the Muller Plaza, however, all other events will go on as scheduled.

More Art Space, a new gallery open at 77 Main Street is opening their first exhibit tomorrow night featuring many of the area's well known artists and some lesser known.  At the gallery, Oneonta World of Learning (OWL) is presenting an Art Box Auction fundraisier to benefit OWL's new home at 277 Main St.  You can bid on one-of-a-kind art created cigar boxes.

During the evening, The Greater Oneonta Historical Society will be unveiling the first of five murals that will adorn the Dietz Street side of the Bissell Block Building. The murals will be hung on the five bricked in windows and represent all of the businesses that used to be located on the corner of Dietz and Main Streets. There will be a reception at 6:30pm but the public is invited to come in from 4:30- 8 pm to see the newest exhibit 'If These Walls Could Talk' on the previous occupants of the building.

To find out more details about this event, listen below as Main Street Oneonta volunteer Rachel Lutz Jessup and More Art Space Owner Zena Gurbo talk about Fabulous Friday.
