Charges Officially Filed Against Alleged Doc Knapp Field Vandals

Oneonta Police department has announced that summonses have been issued as a result of the investigation into the vandalism spree at Doc Knapp Field last weekend.

The investigation was aided by tips from the public, examinations of evidence, interviews. and cooperation from the parents of the suspects.  The youths allegedly involved in the incident are a 13-year old male and two 14-year old males, all from Oneonta.  They will be required to appear in Otsego County Family Court.

The offenses filed include Arson in the third degree, Conspiracy in the sixth degree and making graffiti.

The case is now closed.
