Binghamton National Weather Service Calling For Possible Severe Storm

Chenango, Delaware, and Otsego Counties are bracing for a potentially severe rain storm tomorrow.  The National Weather Service of Binghamton states "strong to severe thunderstorms which may occur Thursday afternoon and evening as a front moves across the region with an unstable warm and moist atmosphere. While the primary threat will be for damaging winds, isolated large hail and flash flooding cannot be ruled out."

The Service suggests that area residents monitor the forecast for updates, and have a plan for what you'll do if storms threaten, especially if outdoors.
