Coulson lives! We're not expecting the full 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' teaser trailer until sometime this evening during the 'Once Upon A Time' season finale, but Marvel has already kicked things off with our first look at the new Joss Whedon superhero series, greenlit for a full season this past Friday. Well, what are you waiting for? Meet the 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' in the first teaser inside!

The next few months will prove insanely exciting as we wait for Marvel's Joss Whedon-directed 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' premiere, now that ABC ordered the pilot to series. And while a fuller teaser will likely debut tonight, ABC has already given us our first look at new footage from Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.'

So, what can we see? Almost nothing. But we've got superpowers, a little flying dealie, some cleavage and Coulson looking pissed! Really, isn't that enough? Before you check out the teaser, here's the official plot description for 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.':

Clark Gregg reprises his role of Agent Phil Coulson from Marvel’s feature films as he assembles a small, highly select group of Agents from the worldwide law-enforcement organization known as S.H.I.E.L.D. Together they investigate the new, the strange, and the unknown across the globe, protecting the ordinary from the extraordinary. Coulson’s team consists of Agent Grant Ward (Brett Dalton), highly trained in combat and espionage, Agent Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen) expert pilot and martial artist, Agent Leo Fitz (Iain De Caestecker); brilliant engineer and Agent Jemma Simmons (Elizabeth Henstridge) genius bio-chemist. Joining them on their journey into mystery is new recruit and computer hacker Skye (Chloe Bennet).

Aside from the just-mentioned cast of Marvel’s ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.’ TV series, Nick Fury himself, Samuel L. Jackson previously stated that he expected to be involved in some small capacity, while ‘How I Met Your Mother‘ and ‘The Avengers‘ star Cobie Smulders remains open to the possibility as well.

It's really happening! Coulson lives! Check out the teaser below, and stay tuned for the full look at Marvel's 'Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' later tonight!
