Afton Man Killed While Working on Car

An Afton man is dead after the car he was working under fell on him. Police say it happened on Tuesday at a Oak Hill Avenue address and an investigation is under way into what led to the vehicle falling off its supports crushing the man. His name has not been released. The New York State Police, Chenango County Sheriff’s office and Harpursville Fire Department responded to the scene where the man was pronounced dead.
