400 LB. Delaware Academy Pumpkin Heading To Hard Rock Cafe

A gardening skills program for elementary students at Delaware Academy in Delhi has yielded a giant pumpkin worth bragging about!  A giant pumpkin grown to 400 lbs. in the Delaware Academy elementary school garden led by master gardener Ed Chytalo will be delivered on September 28 and will be on display at the Hard Rock Cafe in Manhattan's Times Square through October according to The Shire Pub in Delhi's facebook page.  The Shire Pub will have it on display at their establishment on September 27 for community members to check out.

Chytalo has shared his time, energy, and gardening skills over the past six years with Delhi students, staff, and community. He was responsible for making a connection with management at the Hard Rock in Manhattan to get the pumpkin on display there.
