Yesterday, Guy Weideman, who is a father of two young children in Oneonta stopped by the studio to talk with me about an action group that he's a part of: "The Guardian Angel Project in Oneonta"This is a recently formed group that currently meets once a month to discuss ways of keeping children the safest they can be our Oneonta schools.

After the Newtown, Connecticutt shootings, there was a nationwide concern about keeping children safe in school and that's when this group in Oneonta formed.  The Angel Project will hold their next meeting at the Oneonta Salvation Army at 25 River Street at 6:30pm on February 7th.  The public is invited to this free meeting.  The meeting is designed to be a round-table discussion.
