Feeling guilty over being late for work again?  Relax.  According to a new workplace survey from Mozy Online, a company that provides online backup service, 73 percent of bosses don't care if you're late.  Hard to believe I know.  And get this - female bosses are 20 percent more likely than male bosses to demand staff be in the office on time.   Male bosses are twice as likely as female bosses to allow employees to be up to two hours late.  Interesting isn't it?

Here's another thing the survey found: the average American worker puts in almost an hour of work before arriving at the office.  I was shocked at that one.  Maybe people like to do work at home because they can get more done?  Fewer distractions?  That I can believe unless you have kids who want your attention.

Here are some other results from the survey:

- 80 percent of bosses say it's okay to call their workers in the evening

- Managers are largely okay with employees conducting certain personal tasks (bill paying, dentist appointments, etc) during the work day.

- An average boss would allow employees to work 25 percent of the time from home.

Now we're going to do our own poll.  Just take a second to answer the following question.
