Sport Tech to Shut Its Doors for Good

The owners of Sport Tech in Downtown Oneonta have announced the closing of the store. A store closure sale will start immediately.

Ed and Cameron Lorenz with Bob and Nancy Scanlon have owned the business since 1984. Sport Tech won the Otsego County Chamber Small Business of the Year in 2001 and the Future for Oneonta Foundation’s Business of the year in 2009.

Sport Tech has enjoyed long lasting partnerships with Oneonta Youth Soccer, The Pit Run, Hartwick College athletics and the College at Oneonta track and cross country program.

Customers are encouraged to use their gift cards and store credits before the store closes. Plans are currently underway for the possible continuation of the bicycle business. For more information go online to sporttechonline.com Or call: 607-432-1731
