Back in the 1970's, if you were a girl and didn't have "Dressy Bessy", then how the heck were you going to properly learn how to dress yourself?  I had my very own Dressy Bessy when I was little and can remember spending a lot of time unbuttoning and rebuttoning her vest and buckling her shoes.  And there was a zipper too.  Oh boy!

I also remember having a soft cloth book that helped me to practice tying sneakers.  You can't beat fun teaching tools for little ones!

If your Preschooler seems to be struggling with learning how to get dressed, I came across some great info on About.com that explains certain age markers for skills and tips on helping your child.
