Tammy Lynn Hotaling, a former Oneonta resident, was arrested this week following a joint narcotics investigation between the Otsego County sheriff’s office criminal division and Oneonta Police Department detective bureau.

In July, cocaine was allegedly purchased from Hotaling, 37, a convicted felon, in the city of Oneonta. She was indicted in August by a grand jury.

Hotaling was arrested Monday by Otsego County sheriff’s deputies following her release from Oneida County jail, where she was serving a 90-day sentence for petit larceny.

Hotaling is being held in the Otsego County correctional facility on $25,000 bail. She will be arraigned by county court judge Brian Burns on Tuesday.

She faces up to 12 years in prison if convicted on the sale charge due to the previous felony conviction.
