The Violence Intervention Program of Opportunities for Otsego is holding its annual “Take Back the Night” march on Thursday beginning at 6:30 p.m. starting on the SUNY Oneonta campus. After a short presentation, marchers will proceed through the City of Oneonta, making a brief stop at Hartwick College then ending at Kim Muller Plaza for a candlelight vigil honoring victims of crime. The march is a partnership between the Violence Intervention Program of Opportunities for Otsego, SUNY Oneonta, Hartwick College, and Family Planning of South Central New York.
