Last night was not exactly an ideal night for trick or treating with all the rain, but with the relatively warm temperatures, it was enough to take the edge off from the weather and it didn't seem to dampen the spirits of costumed kids in Oneonta, NYIn fact, it seemed like a record number turned out for the Halloween parade which marched through Downtown Oneonta with plenty of spirit for the ghoulish holiday.

One of my favorite things about this parade is that it's a rare opportunity to hear the Oneonta Middle and High School bands play, plus it's very fun to check out the multitude of creative costumes.  The coolest thing about the parade last night had to be the giant scary puppet which included a marriage proposal to "Libby" (pictured above).  What we all want to know is, who is Libby and did she say "Yes!" ?
