On Saturday, December 2nd, Destination Oneonta is hosting many holiday events to get everyone into the holiday spirit.

From 10 AM - 11 AM, children and families will have the opportunity to meet Elsa and Anna from Disney's Frozen. The pair will be in Muller Plaza before the start of the parade.

From 11 AM - 12 PM, any and all community members will be encouraged to experience the Home for the Holidays Parade. The parade will take place on Main Street, and will be sure to spread jolliness and holiday cheer.

Following the parade, the Community Cookie Swap will take place at Foothills Performing Arts Center in the Production Room from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM. All will be welcome to swap and share their favorite holiday treats. All should bring at least four bags worth of cookies with at least six cookies in each bag, and must label the bags to display all of the ingredients involved and the name of the cookie. Feel free to write your name on the bag as well.

Also occurring in Foothills Performing Arts Center's Production Room from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM is the Festival of the Trees. All can participate in helping to decorate many 6 feet trees to spread joy and positivity. Trees will be donated to families of the community as well as raffled off to those who participate.

Finally, the second annual Gingerbread Jubilee & Gingerbread Contest will take place in the Atrium at Foothills Performing Arts Center from 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM. Sit with Santa and vote on your favorite gingerbread creation.

All activities will be held on December 2nd. It's time to start feeling the holiday spirit.
