The Oneonta Concert Association, with an 88 year tradition of bringing professional quality musical entertainment to Oneonta, will be presenting The Nathaniel Dett Chorale on Friday, February 19th at 7:30pm at the SUNY Oneonta Hunt Union Ballroom.

The Nathaniel Dett Chorale is a Canadian group dedicated to Afrocentric music of all styles, including classical, spiritual, gospel, jazz, folk and blues, and was named in honor of the late-19th-century composer and musicologist Nathanial Dett. The Nathaniel Dett Chorale’s mission is to build bridges of understanding, appreciation, and acceptance among communities of people, Afrocentric and other, by uniting its audiences in a love of Afrocentric choral music, and by creating an understanding of the complex roots of this music.
