A large number of area men and women turned out for a jobs fair at SUNY Morrisville’s Norwich campus on Wednesday.

About two dozen businesses were there to talk with job seekers. Many of those businesses were looking for new hires. Along with large area business such as CMH, NBT, Chobani, Raymond Corporation and Unison, there were some new companies, like  Storeroom Solutions with an office in Sherburne.

With sites all over the county, Storeroom Solutions serves companies in the area such as Chobani, Norwich Pharmaceuticals, Bristol Meyers Squibb in Syracuse, and a business in Hobart. Storeroom Solutions also serves companies all over the country.

The jobs fair was a project of U.S Rep. Richard Hanna, who supplied several of his staff to help at the event.
