I saw today in the TV listings that "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" is on CBS tonight at 8pm.  It got me thinking about my favorite TV specials. No matter how many times I've watched these, even as an adult with my kids, I still enjoy them.  Feel free to add to the list on facebook.

At the top of my list is "Rudolph The Red Nosed Reindeer" from 1964.  (this is a classic TV Commercial promoting the program)

"Frosty the Snowman" from 1969 (below is one of the funniest moments)

"A Charlie Brown Christmas" from 1965  (in this video Linus explains the meaning of Christmas)

"How the Grinch Stole Christmas" from 1966  (this is the classic song, "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch")

"Santa Claus Is Comin' to Town" from 1970  (this is a trailer from 1970)

"The Year Without A Santa Claus" from 1974  (this is the Snow Miser and Heat Miser song)
