Middle school students will meet at SUNY Delhi on February 6 to compete in MATHCOUNTS, a nationwide math enrichment, coaching and competition program. Locally, this program is made possible through the support of SUNY Delhi with leadership of middle school math teachers and the Broome Chapter of the National Society of Professional Engineers. The top male and female scorers in the competition will receive a certificate for a $1,000 scholarship to attend SUNY Delhi. The public is encouraged to visit SUNY Delhi to watch the competition which starts at 10 a.m.
